Aslynn's a Big Girl - Please Excuse Me While I Cry

Aslynn is growing up SO fast!  I know you probably don't care about the words that Z is saying, but I needed to make sure I have documentation of all her "words at almost-21-months" so I can look back on them when she is a teenager and cry about how she little and cute she was. This list is compiled over a couple of days.  There are more words, I just didn't remember them all at the time I made the list.

In Aslynn's world an apple is a wonderful snack anytime, anyplace. Apples are her favorite food. If we don't peel them before we give them to her she kindly takes a bite, eats the good part and puts the peel back into Luke or I's hand. Since collecting peels isn't my favorite thing to do, I just peel the apple.

Yesterday she ended up on the porch, just chillin'. Sometimes she wouldn't even bother picking up the apple in the cup holder, she would just bend over and take a bite. She makes me laugh.

*Me: "Aslynn, smile!"...this is what I got.  I can make the same face.  I won't show you a picture because I am not nearly as cute as she is.*

*At the end of this long and kind of boring video of a phone conversation (usually she's more talkative) is her classic "How are you?" which sounds like "Hiyayou!" But of course, at the word "Paca" (who is her favorite person) she's done talking.*

P.S. As of last Saturday, Fiyero either ran away or got eaten by a desert carnivore.  There is much mourning in the Mecham household.  Aslynn askes for "Fero" several times every day.  Hopefully we will find him! I miss him too and although Luke won't admit it, he misses him too.
