And I say: "Fine. A little cramping and a couple of noticeable "rock-hard tummy" times, but as far as contractions go, I don't count them because they weren't major enough to try to time. My life has been basically pain-free; except for a couple of days ago when, for about a half hour, it felt like she was trying to claw her way out of me with her fingernails. I feel great right now! THAT'S THE PROBLEM."
I'm still pregnant.
Since Aslynn's due dates were all wonky I don't really know if she was overdue. With my due date being tomorrow, I am 98% sure that this kid is going to be overdue. GOSH DARN IT ALL! I am so done being pregnant!
I went to the doctor yesterday and he is really worried about the size of this munchkin. I am measuring at almost 42 centimeters (BIG), so he did an ultrasound to check the baby's size/weight.
Mecham Baby #2 is tipping the scales between 8 lb. 13 oz. and 9 lb. 6 oz. (give or take a 15% margin for error). Most of her weight comes from her very large abdomen. (What?! Large abdomen? Yeah; your guess is as good as mine. But the doctor says that there probably isn't a medical condition that is causing her big belly, so that is good news.)
He offered to induce me this weekend and I declined. I admit; I am scared to be induced. I want this baby to come on her own. Plus, my mom, grandma and brother (not like he will want to be in the delivery room) will be here LATE Sunday night. Maybe there is a chance that the ladies will be able to be there for the birth?
Anyway, because of her large size, the doctor doesn't want me to wait until I am 41 weeks before I get induced. He wants it sooner. I told him that if she wasn't here by Tuesday I would let him induce me then.
Did you hear that, butt-munch baby?! You have until Tuesday before I MAKE you come out! So if you want to begin your life, outside of the womb, on your own terms, you better make your appearance PRONTO! Get it? Got it? Good!

I've been thinking about you all day, but refused to bother you with your number one question because it's still all too fresh in my memory...can't wait to see how big this kiddo is, ouch!

YAY!!! she is coming so soon!!! my doctor told me the girls had large abdomens for their gestational age, but nothing happened because of it. I sure hope you go into labor soon because I am dying to hear her name!
