Here is what Z has been up to since we settled into our new house in sunny, hot California.
She adores her cousins and her cousins adore her. It’s a love/love relationship.
Because it is too hot to have her hair down around her neck, and she gets annoyed with having to brush it out of her face all the time, Aslynn lets me do her hair every morning. She sits still and everything. Of course, she is a toddler and by the end of the day her hairdo doesn't look nearly as good as it did that morning.
This is what her hair looks like after I’ve taken out her hair, and she’s slept on the taken-out hair but before I re-do her hair. (Ugh, that was a horrible sentence. Confession: after writing for BYU-Idaho’s Scroll newspaper, I am super concerned with how my sentences end up. I know that they are getting worse. I am sorry. I need to go back to school.)
Aslynn wouldn't hold still for the first picture because she wanted to sit in her booster-chair and eat grapes, bananas, and graham crackers (three things she eats EVERY DAY along with Otter Pops, fruit snacks, yogurt, milk and watered-down juice. We are working on adding more variety to her diet...)
Luke took Aslynn to Home Depot where she built a miniature fooseball table while looking super cute in her orange apron.

Bre - this is Rebecca Bushman from your culinary classes at BYU-Idaho. You remember those good old days! You gave me your blog address a long time ago and I have been following your blog but I don't think I ever gave you mine. So if you're interested it is jrbushman.blogspot.com. Anyhow, I can't believe how big Aslynn is getting! She is a cutie! Since I haven't seen you in a while I will sum up what we have been doing - We are now living in Louisiana and Jeff is going to medical school at LSU. Also, we had a baby girl in March :)
